Longest highway in India

India's longest highway is the NH7 which runs between Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to Kanyakumari in Tamilnadu, a distance of 2369 km.

Notes

The NH7 was briefly renumbered to NH44. But the plan to systematically renumber highways has now been placed on hold.

The second longest highway appears to be NH6 which runs between Hazira and Kolkata, a distance of 1949 km.
