Akbar The Great

Akbar, the greatest of the Mughals, could not read or write and was possibly also dyslexic.

However, Akbar had others read to him daily and supposedly had a remarkable memory. Both his father, Humayun, and grandfather, Babar, were well read. However, his own childhood was spent among the Afghan tribes and he ascended the throne himself when he was only 14.
